Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, along with representatives of Detroit City Council, today announced plans to make sure all Detroiters impacted by storm related flooding in August are contacted by the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), which is offering financial aid to flooding victims.

At a press conference today Mayor Duggan thanked the Obama Administration for providing this financial safety net for Detroit residents, many of who need to replace furnaces and water heaters before winter sets in. [...]
