Asthma & Allergies Pose a Challenge. In 2013 AAFA-MI had many collaborations, partnerships and outreach efforts in Michigan communities. We continue to be true to our mission to improve the quality of life for those affected by asthma and allergic diseases through education, training and advocacy, despite a significant reduction in donations and grants.
We inspired thousands across Michigan to improve their asthma and allergy management through our many programs including: Asthma Basics & Control© (for parents & families), Asthma Management & Education (for nurses, doctors and respiratory therapists), as well as participating with many community health fairs, schools events and workplace programs across Michigan.
